Large Paintings

What I love about creating larger paintings is how the viewer, including me, is invited to step into the painting.

I also like the painterly freedom that the larger space can create.

Everything doesn’t have to be knit as tightly and images and ideas can float through the picture creating the poetic associations that are key to how I think about image making.
